Nadaaniyan,Aamir’s children study in a coolie school and wear expensive and good clothes. Then they fall in love and later regret it a lot. But the problem arises because this film is completely a box office story.
High school kids these days are very smart. They embrace the challenges of the real world and continue to progress. And the kids don’t want to go to London to study law. The kids here are well aware of the situation in the UK and the recession. Naadaaniyaan is Karan Johar’s super-frothy top student of the year. The film has a cheesy cousin. It is paced like the top student of the year.
They are much smarter and more talented than the prom nights, short skirts, and oversized sweatshirts of today. These students have no time for frivolity. The Netflix show Naadaniyaan revolves around Pia (Khushi Kapoor), a South Delhi girl who is determined to tell her love story to the world, Arjun (Ibrahim Ali Khan), a kaftan maker for the debate team, and a middle-class man from Noida. When they meet, they are dealing in some business.
The pair looks perfect. It is of no use to everyone to keep them guessing. They suddenly fall in love with each other. The story is as silly as the title suggests. The two of them live in a bubble of love that doesn’t exist in that space yet. Dia Mirza, who plays Arjun’s mother, is underrated. In this story, I also feel that the writer has tried very hard to normalize the infidelity shown by Sunil Shetty, the father of Piya (Khushi Kapoor). Piya’s mother (Mahima Chaudhary) wanted a son.
It is very difficult to find one in today’s world. To be honest, a middle-class girl falls in love with a rich boy. And let me tell you, it is not so serious that you will not even need to watch the whole film to know how it ends and what is going to happen next.

I still don’t understand why Shauna Gautam made this movie. The story is as stupid as the movie is. This movie is the kind of movie you would rarely see in kids these days, especially in today’s highly competitive world. Someone said that even if you are a star kid, it doesn’t really help if you don’t have talent, or if the story is really tailor-made for Khushi Kapoor.
